Tips to choose the best ourfit for an underwater photoshoot
Do you have an underwater photoshoot and don’t know which dress to wear?
Don’t worry, choosing your outfit is easier than it seems! Here are some tips to help you choosing the best outfit for your underwater photoshoot.
Let’s start with the fundamental rule: be yourself, feel comfortable and beautiful! Wear something that makes you feel gorgeous!

Underwater outfit? Check the Fabric!
A very important detail is that the fabric of your dress should be light and with a neutral density in the water. Heavy fabrics will sink faster or tend to roll around you. Also, lightweight fabrics will flow better in the water and have more impressive results.

Short or Long dress for an underwater photoshoot?
We always recommend dresses or long skirts as they have more movement underwater. A real magic!
Short light dresses tend to float and you will have to deal with that during the photo session. You can choose tight short dresses but you’ll not have the beautiful fabric movment around you.
A long dress with a slit will be more comfortable as well as sexy! A slit will provide more freedom of movement. If you choose a long skirt you may prefer to combine your skirt with a nice bikini or a lingerie bodysuit.

Best colors for your underwater outfit
Colors are also very important when choosing your outfit for your underwater photoshoot in the cenote.
Bright colors such as: yellow, orange, red, pink and white will stand out more in the underwater landscape of the cenote. Colors such as black, blue, green, brown, etc. will create less contrast underwater since they reflect less light and can be lost with the background.
The good news is that in the cenotes there are different environments, so depending on the color of your dress, I will choose the best spot to make you look spectacular!
